That was a real cool story. What would you do in that situation? It's hard to say you'd work without pay, but in the end the kids are why we are doing this in the first place, not the money. Also, I thought it was funny how they gave the 5000$ giftcard first. I was thinking, seriously she doesn't want money to JC pennys haa. Hope they are able to get things back on track.
I honestly don't know what I would do in that situation. I would love to say that I would do the same thing that this teacher did, and continue to work for no pay, but if I have a family to support it might be difficult. Hopefully none of us will have to make a tough decision like that, and hopefully with Ellen's help, there will be at least one struggling school thriving again.
